Nationwide Preparations Underway for Afghanistan’s Independence Day Celebrations

​22 Safar 1448 AH Provincial Directorates of Information and Culture have announced that preparations are complete across all provinces to celebrate 24 Asad, Afghanistan’s Independence Day. Official ceremonies have been arranged nationwide to mark this historical event.
​The commemorative programs will bring together government officials, religious scholars, tribal elders, university lecturers, and students from both academic institutions and religious seminaries. Representatives from various sectors of society will also attend to mark the occasion.
​Officials emphasized that independence is one of the nation's most valuable historical achievements. Commemorating 24 Asad reflects a shared commitment to preserving national sovereignty, cultural identity, and social unity, while passing these foundational values on to future generations.
​Citizens across the country have expressed support for the planned events, noting that the observance of Independence Day reinforces national pride, strengthens solidarity, and highlights civic responsibility among the youth.
