Consultative Meeting of the Signage and Advertising Board Reform Commission was held 

A consultative meeting of the Signage and Advertising Board Reform Commission was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohajer Farahi, Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs at the Ministry of Information and Culture.
During the meeting, commission members discussed various issues concerning the regulation and improvement of signboards and advertising displays in Kabul and reached a series of decisions.
The commission emphasized the importance of addressing visual clutter caused by signboards and advertising boards in the city and outlined measures aimed at enhancing the urban landscape also highlighted the need for closer cooperation with the Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in implementing the commission’s field programs and activities.
Furthermore, the commission approved an official memorandum advocating the development of appropriate national language equivalents for foreign words and terms. These alternatives will be made available to business owners and professionals for broader adoption.
In another segment of the meeting, Qari Wali Gul Jawad, Director of Cultural Affairs at Kabul Municipality, along with designated commission members, was introduced as the official responsible for providing information to the media regarding the commission’s activities.
The meeting concluded with discussions on additional matters related to the commission’s work, and the necessary resolutions were adopted.
