Takhar's head of information and culture met with the head of the journalists' union

On Tuesday (26th Dhul-Qa'dah 1445), Maulawi Zabihullah Ansari, Takhar's head of information and culture, met with Sayed Munir Ahmad Hamad, the head of the journalists' union, in his office to discuss the state of journalists and local media—activities in Takhar.

The director of information and culture emphasized that Takhar's local media representatives should appoint individuals with a working knowledge of journalistic standards and ethics. He stated that the media has an essential effect on the government.

Mr. Ansari urged media representatives and journalists to operate according to Islamic Emirate policy and reflect on the achievements and successes of the Islamic system.

Head of the Takhar Journalists' Union, Seyyed Munir Ahmed, said, "The media is a bridge between the government and the people, and he promised that he will continue media activities according to the policy of the Islamic Emirate." He also thanked Takhar's Department of Information and Culture for its support and guidance.
