We are committed to activities of Media, within the framework of Islamic principles and Afghan traditions

The said statement was made by the Deputy Director of Information and Culture of Helmand province and Press Officer of the said province Maulawi Mohammad Qasim Riaz during a visit to the Taleem-al-Islam Radio, during which Maulawi Mohammad Nabi Hamad, in charge of the Helmand branch of the same radio, Broadcasting Officer Abdul Hanan Hanafi, Provincial Journalist Committee Head Abdullah Hakmal, Bakhtar Agency Correspondent Nazar Muhammad Kaltur and colleagues of the said radio were present.
Mr. Riaz, during a meeting with the officials and colleagues of Taleem-al-Islam said that; we are committed to media activity and cooperation within the framework of Islamic values and Afghan traditions. The media should fulfill its national responsibility in maintaining these values. 
He added that the media can encourage the ideas and minds of people in a positive direction and it is the responsibility of the media and journalists to convey the positive news of the country to the people.
After that, Abdullah Haqmal, Head of the Provincial Committee of Journalists, asked the Department of Information and Culture to organize workshops in capacity building for journalists and spokespersons in the province in order to improve journalists and spokespersons in news preparation and related matters.
It is worth noting that there are currently 9 audio media including Taleem-al-Islam operating in Helmand province, whose listeners consider their broadcasts to be effective.
