Book Review Commission Holds Regular Meeting

On Monday, 15 Rabi’ al-Thani 1448 AH The Book Review Commission of the Ministry of Information and Culture held its regular meeting with the participation of the Commission’s members.
During the meeting, the Commission reviewed a number of books and made the necessary decisions regarding their publication. Books deemed consistent with Islamic and Afghan values were granted approval for publication. The Commission also made decisions concerning 39 book titles.
The meeting also addressed the reproduction and distribution of books through libraries and other academic and educational institutions, as well as other matters falling within the Commission’s mandate. The necessary decisions were taken on the issues discussed.
At the meeting, 11 books referred to the Commission were also distributed among its members for review. The members will present their assessments and reports at the Commission’s next meeting.
