Study Competition on Decree No. 17 Held in Zabul with Participation of 1,700 Young People

On 14 Rabi’ al-Thani 1448 AH A study competition on the content and provisions of Decree No. 17 issued by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate was held in Zabul with the participation of around 1,700 young people.
The competition was organized by the Al-Rabat Cultural and Intellectual Organization in coordination with the Zabul departments of Information and Culture and Education. It was held at the Sheikh Mati Baba High School sports ground in Qalat, the provincial capital.
The event was attended by a number of officials from provincial government institutions, as well as Mawlawi Hamdullah Fitrat, Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate.
Mawlawi Esmatullah Shakib Agha, Director of Youth Affairs at the Zabul Department of Information and Culture, said registration for the competition had opened three weeks earlier, with around 1,700 young people registering during that period.
He said copies of Decree No. 17 were distributed to participants to study before they took an examination on its content. Shakib Agha added that various prizes would be awarded to the top 50 participants.
Other speakers said the competition was intended to enhance the awareness of students and young people and promote greater understanding of the provisions of the decree.
Participants said they had studied the decree and would seek to share its content and messages with others.
Officials said the examination program would be extended to the districts of Zabul in subsequent stages.
