Ministry of Information and Culture Holds Guidance Session for Employees on Implementing Decrees and Directives

The Ministry of Information and Culture’s Directorate of Invitation and Guidance held a guidance session for ministry employees aimed at strengthening the implementation of the decrees and directives of the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him) and the Law on the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.
The session was attended by Sheikh Abdul Rahman Tayebi, Deputy Minister for Culture and Arts; the Director of Invitation and Guidance; and a number of employees from the Directorates of Public Libraries, National Archives, National Gallery, Bayhaqi, Kabul Information and Culture, Historical Monuments, Archaeology, and Internal Audit.
At the outset, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Agha Saeed, Director of Invitation and Guidance, provided detailed information on the decrees of the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him) and the Law on the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, particularly those concerning employees’ conduct and appearance, observance of prayer, and participation in religious instruction.
Sheikh Abdul Rahman Tayebi, Deputy Minister for Culture and Arts, then spoke about the importance of Islamic Sharia and its implementation in society. He said that the Islamic Emirate had come to power following considerable sacrifices and that preserving it was a responsibility shared by all.
Tayebi also elaborated on the virtue of performing congregational prayers, the importance of religious instruction, observing conduct and appearance in accordance with Islamic Sharia, and promoting Islamic culture in society.
The Deputy Minister for Culture and Arts called on employees of the participating directorates to maintain unity, brotherhood, and coordination, and to refrain from division and ethnic prejudice.
