Directors of the General Directorate of Jihadi Values Introduced at Official Ceremony

On Saturday (19th of Sha‘ban, 1447 AH), an introduction meeting for the general Director of the (General Directorate of Jihadi Values) and the directors of its affiliated departments was held in the presence of the Minister of Information and Culture, Sheikh Shir Ahmad Haqqani; the Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and administrative affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture, Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal; central directors of the ministry; officials from several Emirate institutions; and journalists.

The meeting was organized to introduce the General Director of Jihadi Values, Mufti Muhammad Tahir Kohbandi; the Director of the Organization and Collection of Jihadi (Artifacts), Qari Abdul Sattar Saeed; the Director of Registration of Jihadi Documents and Artifacts, Qari Ahmadullah Saeed the Director of Publications and the Library, Hafiz Noor Ahmad Saeed.

During the meeting, the Minister of Information and Culture, Sheikh Shir Ahmad Haqqani, stated that collecting and documenting jihadi artifacts for future generations is of particular importance and plays a significant role in the intellectual reform of society. He emphasized the need to collect and document the sacrifices and achievements of the mujahideen. He instructed the officials of the General Directorate of Jihadi Values to intensify their efforts to collect, document, and preserve jihadi artifacts and achievements.

In the course of the meeting, the General Director of Jihadi Values, Mufti Muhammad Tahir Kohbandi, spoke about the importance of preserving and documenting, of jihadi artifacts, stating that keeping alive the sacrifices and selflessness of the mujahideen is one of their fundamental responsibilities.

Mr. Kohbandi further added that three world empires have been defeated on this land, and that the jihadi heritage stands as clear evidence of this great historical reality and must be properly documented.
