The Deputy Ministry of Publications at the Ministry of Information and Culture, in cooperation with the Parwan Directorate of Information and Culture, organized a one-day training seminar in Parwan Province for 250 participants, including journalists, media officers from Emirate institutions, writers, and literary figures. The seminar aimed to strengthen the intellectual, ideological, and professional capacities of the attendees while enhancing their understanding of fundamental journalism principles.

The event was attended by Mawlawi Muhajer Farahi, the Deputy Minister for Publications; Sheikh Azizurrahman Mansoor, the Governor of Parwan; several directors from the Ministry of Information and Culture; and various provincial officials.

In his address to the gathering, the Director of Information and Culture for Parwan emphasized the importance of unity, the value of time, and the pursuit of both religious and contemporary education as essential pillars for societal progress.

During the seminar, Mawlawi Muhajer Farahi condemned the attacks by Pakistan's military regime on Afghanistan's national sovereignty and territorial integrity. He said the Islamic Emirate remains committed to protecting the country's independence, national interests, and territorial integrity and that all necessary measures will be taken to safeguard them.

Farahi stressed that the media play a crucial role as a bridge between the people and the government, urging them to present a truthful and impartial reflection of society. He added that the Ministry of Information and Culture is dedicated to providing greater support to media organizations and addressing the challenges they encounter.

Additionally, Farahi called on journalists and media representatives to effectively communicate the decrees of the Amir al-Mu'minin (May Allah Protect Him) to the public as part of broader awareness efforts.

Parwan Governor Sheikh Azizurrahman Mansoor encouraged participants to collaborate in unity and coordination to strengthen the system and to remain vigilant against hostile propaganda from foreign sources.

Throughout the seminar, Mawlawi Safiullah Raed, the Director of Media Monitoring under the Deputy Ministry of Publications, and Mawlawi Abdul Haq Hammad, Adviser on Publishing Policy to the Deputy Ministry of Publications, along with other presenters, delivered thorough presentations on journalism principles, news writing standards, enhancing media activities, strengthening journalists' professional capacity, and the role of youth in society.

The speakers highlighted that the seminar was designed to enhance participants' intellectual and professional skills, stressing that journalists can only fulfill their responsibilities effectively through continuous study and a deep understanding of their field. They also noted that young people are the architects of the future of any society.

The presenters encouraged journalists to uphold the principles of impartiality, integrity, and Islamic ethics in their reporting, asserting that every news report should be published only after thorough verification and careful review.

Participants expressed appreciation for the seminar's organization, describing such training programs as valuable for improving their understanding of journalistic principles, enhancing professional competencies, and strengthening media performance. They also urged the relevant authorities to continue organizing similar academic and professional seminars regularly.
