Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and Administrative Affairs Meets Private Employment Sector Representatives

On Tuesday, 27 Safar 1448 AH, Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal, deputy minister for tourism, finance, and administrative affairs at the Ministry of Information and Culture, met with representatives of private employment companies and industry associations at his office to discuss employment opportunities for Afghan citizens and the legal placement of workers abroad.
The meeting was attended by Noorullah Fadawi, Chairman of the Afghanistan Association of Private Employment Companies; Abdul Mateen Abid, the Association’s Deputy for Finance and Administration; Mohammad Amin Anis, Head of a company specializing in the placement of workers abroad; Mohammad Yaser, Head of Royal Employment Company; Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Head of Afghan Group Employment Company; and Lal Mohammad Amiri, Head of the Executive Board of Afghanistan’s Private Employment Companies.
Welcoming the participants, Mawlawi Jamal underscored the important role of private employment companies and associations in creating job opportunities for Afghan citizens. He said that expanding access to employment, both within Afghanistan and abroad, is important to reducing unemployment.
The Deputy Minister stressed that Afghan citizens seeking employment opportunities abroad should be facilitated through legal channels. He also called on employment companies and relevant stakeholders to further strengthen their efforts to identify job opportunities for Afghan workers in both domestic and international labor markets.
Mawlawi Jamal expressed appreciation for the activities of the participating companies and associations and encouraged them to broaden their efforts to support Afghan job seekers. He emphasized that creating employment opportunities abroad, alongside domestic employment initiatives, should remain an important area of focus.
Representatives of the private employment sector briefed the Deputy Minister on their activities and efforts to connect Afghan citizens with employment opportunities. They reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening initiatives aimed at facilitating employment, supporting job seekers, and ensuring the legal placement of Afghan workers in foreign countries.
The meeting concluded with both sides emphasizing the importance of stronger coordination among government institutions, private employment companies, and relevant associations. They noted that improved cooperation could contribute to expanding employment opportunities for Afghan citizens and facilitating the lawful and effective placement of Afghan workers in international labor markets.
