A training seminar focusing on the interpretation of the Poetic Gatherings Law was held in Ghazni.
The one-day event aimed to clarify and implement the Law for Regulating Poetic Gatherings and Literary Events, in accordance with the 17th decree of the Islamic Emirate’s leadership. It was organized in the auditorium of the Ghazni Department of Information and Culture.
The seminar attracted poets, writers, cultural figures, and various Islamic scholars. During the session, Mawlawi Amanullah Mustaghfir, Head of Taranh and Termom at the Ministry of Information and Culture, read the articles of the decree and provided detailed insights into the duties and responsibilities of poets and organizers of poetic and literary gatherings.
Additionally, Mullah Hamidullah Nisar, Director of the Ghazni Department of Information and Culture, along with other scholars, discussed the significance of poetry from an Islamic perspective and its historical role in the Islamic world. They emphasized that poetry has played a pivotal role in the success of Islamic movements. Mullah Hamidullah Nisar also underscored the importance of the new law as a critical step toward eliminating superstitious cultural practices and fostering a pure Islamic cultural identity. He called for its full implementation. Poets and writers present at the seminar welcomed the decree regulating poetic gatherings, sharing poems aimed at challenging harmful traditions and outdated customs during the event.
