“Media and Journalists are the language of the government”

These statements were made by the Governor of Logar, Sheikh Zia-ul-Rahman Madani, the Director of Information and Culture of this province, Rafiullah Samim, the Directors of a number of other institutions, the officials of the government and private media of this province, journalists, the National Association of Journalists of Afghanistan, the representatives of the Committee for the Protection of Journalists were present during a meeting. 
Later, the Director of Information and Culture, Rafiullah Samim, said; “Thank Allah, since the arrival of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, there has been no problem between the journalists and the officials of the provincial institutions in Logar.” He thanked them for their services and assured further cooperation.
In addition, media officials and representatives of journalists' support organizations expressed their gratitude for the cooperation of the provincial institutions and said; “No journalist or media worker has been threatened in Logar in the past two years, while they also have had good achievements in the field of media.”
They called for more cooperation and attention in the areas of access to information and economic empowerment of the media.
