MoIC Ready to Raise Awareness on Human Rights Values: Minister Safi

 Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Hasina Safi, in a meeting with Commissioner of the Independent Human Rights Commission of Afghanistan, said that the Ministry continued to raise awareness on human rights values, BNA reported,
Shukrullah Mashkoor, commissioner of the independent human rights commission asked Ministry of Information and Culture’s cooperation with the commission, adding their meeting was aimed to seek ministry’s cooperation in raising awareness on human rights values through media in the country, the agency quoted him as saying.
Expressing support to the commission’s programs, Minister Safi said her led ministry was ready to help raise awareness on human rights values.
Both sides agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on joint cooperation between the two organs, the agency added.
