A coordination meeting was held with the media about implementing the decree to prevent harmful customs

The Kunduz Directorate of Information and Culture convened a coordination meeting with media officials and journalists to ensure the effective implementation of the 17th decree issued by the Esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him), which focuses on eliminating harmful customs.
At the opening of the session, the head of the information department of Kunduz outlined the contents of the decree and emphasized the crucial role of the media in shaping public opinion and raising awareness. He highlighted that informed public engagement is essential for the successful implementation of the decree.
During the gathering, Mawlawi Gul Mohammad Ilyas, Director of Information and Culture in Kunduz, described the proper enforcement of this decree as a vital step towards social reform and the promotion of Islamic values. He called upon media representatives to actively collaborate with the Directorate in enlightening society and discouraging harmful practices, stressing that the decree is firmly grounded in the Holy Qur’an and the noble traditions of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
At the conclusion of the meeting, local media officials and journalists pledged their full support for implementing the decree. They committed to producing public awareness programs and taking practical steps to strengthen community understanding.
