Regular Meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission Held

On Monday (19th of Shawwal al-Mukarram 1447 AH), the regular session of the Book Evaluation Commission, operating under the Deputy Ministry for Publications Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture, was convened.

At the outset of the meeting, the Commission’s Secretary presented a report on the previous session, during which the Commission’s achievements and activities were positively assessed.

During the meeting, decisions were made on several books. Those works found to be in accordance with Islamic and Afghan values were granted permission to be published. In addition, necessary decisions were taken concerning 60 volumes of imported and exported books representing 56 different titles.

It is also noteworthy that 14 referred books were distributed among Commission members for review, with the expectation that their findings will be presented at the next session.
