Kunar Department of Information and Culture Announces Winners of Decree No. 17 Competition

The Kunar Provincial Department of Information and Culture has announced the results of a competition held on Decree No. 17 issued by the Islamic Emirate’s leadership. The top-performing participants were recognised with various prizes at a ceremony marking the announcement.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mawlawi Sami-ul-Haq Haq Bayan, Director of Information and Culture in Kunar, and other speakers discussed the importance of Decree No. 17, which concerns the prevention of harmful customs, and its role in reforming society. They said that proper implementation of the decree would help address many of the problems in society.

Under the award arrangements, the first-place winner received a computer, the second-place winner a mobile phone, and the third-place winner a wristwatch. Other participants who achieved leading positions in the competition also received various gifts.
