Cultural Zones to be Created in 11 Provinces

The Ministry of Information and Culture in cooperation with the Presidential Administrative Affairs, is expected to create cultural zones in up to 11  provinces of the country, BNA reported the other day.
Chairing a meeting on the issue, Minister of Information and Culture, Ms Hasina Safi said in order to restore further cohesion in the related affairs, 11 provinces of the country would receive cultural zones within their provincial information and culture departments, according to the agency.
“Public awareness about the creation of the cultural zones is a fundamental principle and this is important for the people to know why the zones are created,” said the minister.
Some other participants spoke on the issue and highlighted the importance of the cultural zone creation in the said provinces.
