Book Review Ceremony Held for “Rishtya Chi Ta Muhammad Ya ﷺ (Indeed, You Are Muhammad ﷺ)” and Four Other Titles
The Directorate of Public Libraries, under the Deputy Ministry of Art and Culture within the Ministry of Information and Culture, organized a special book review ceremony featuring five newly written and translated works by Afghan author Nasir Muhammad Mishal. The books reviewed included “Rishtya Chi Ta Muhammad Ya ﷺ (Indeed, You Are Muhammad ﷺ)” along with four other titles.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Rafiullah Samim, Director of Public Libraries; Maulawi Amir Jan Saqib, Deputy of the Academy of Sciences; as well as officials from various government institutions, writers, and media representatives.
During the event, Dr. Rafiullah Samim praised the author’s valuable contributions, noting that the books address significant and socially relevant topics. He emphasized the need to enrich national languages through scholarly efforts and encouraged young writers to pursue literary work, helping to fill the intellectual and academic gaps in Afghan literature.
Dr. Samim also announced the establishment of a dedicated section for Afghan authors within the Public Library, where their literary works will be preserved. He urged all writers across the country to submit their manuscripts for archiving, ensuring their names and contributions remain alive for future generations.
In his address, Maulawi Amir Jan Saqib highlighted the importance of reading and writing, urging the youth to incorporate these practices into their daily lives. He pointed out that writing and reading form the foundations of intellectual growth and cultural development.
Meanwhile, author Nasir Muhammad Mishal shared insights about the themes and significance of his books, expressing gratitude to the Ministry of Information and Culture for organizing the event and providing a platform to share his thoughts with the audience.
