Deputy Minister of Arts and Culture Visits Iranian Cultural Center
Mawlawi Atiqullah Azizi, Deputy Minister of Arts and Culture at the Ministry of Information and Culture, visited the Iranian Cultural Attaché’s Center in Kabul. During the visit, he toured the library, art studios, and event halls of the center.
Mr. Azizi praised the center’s library, describing it as a well-equipped and valuable resource for studying various sciences and arts. He emphasized that such cultural institutions can play a vital role in enhancing bilateral relations and fostering deeper ties between Afghanistan and Iran.
Dr. Rouhollah Hosseini, the Director of Cultural Affairs at the Iranian Center, expressed his appreciation for the Deputy Minister’s visit. He regarded it as a strong gesture toward nurturing the shared cultural and historical heritage of both nations. Dr. Hosseini reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to working in alignment with the Islamic Emirate’s constructive cultural policies and pledged continued support for the Afghan people.
He also stated Iran’s readiness to cooperate with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in preserving and restoring historical monuments, and in promoting poetry, literature, and the artist.
