The Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs meets with Booksellers and Publishers

The Deputy Minister of Publications at the Ministry of Information and Culture, Mr. Mohajir Farahi, recently held a meeting with publishers and booksellers in the Joi Sheer area of Kabul.

During the meeting, the publishers expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Information and Culture and the Kabul Municipality for their efforts in providing an alternative location for their shops by facilitating the establishment of a new market in the Cinema Pamir area of Kabul.

The publishers and booksellers indicated that they operate in full coordination with the Ministry of Information and Culture. They also appreciated the Ministry’s initiatives in issuing licenses to publishers.

The Deputy Minister of Publications assured them of comprehensive cooperation and emphasized that efforts are underway to collaborate with relevant authorities to initiate book printing within the country. This initiative aims to create job opportunities for the people and promote the use of domestic products.
