Deputy Minister of Tourism, Finance, and Administration Visits Takhar Province

Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal, the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Finance, and Administration at the Ministry of Information and Culture, led an official delegation to Takhar Province. During his visit, he met with Governor Mawlawi Ubaidullah Aminzada and Mawlawi Zabihullah Ansari, the Director of Information and Culture.

The purpose of the visit was to assess the performance of the Directorate of Information and Culture, address existing challenges, and enhance cultural, media, and informational programs. In his meeting with Governor Aminzada, the Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of stronger coordination between the provincial administration and the Directorate of Information and Culture. He highlighted that these directorates play a vital role in reflecting local government activities, fostering public awareness, and bridging the gap between the government and citizens. He also commended the efforts of the Takhar Directorate of Information and Culture in these areas.

Later, Director Mawlawi Zabihullah Ansari provided a detailed report on the directorate’s activities. He underscored the significance of preserving historical sites and improving tourism infrastructure to attract more visitors. Mr. Ansari pointed out that Takhar Province is home to 20 historical sites, 50 tourist destinations, 12 radio stations, and four local television channels. Additionally, he noted that cultural and artistic programs, including poetry gatherings, are regularly organized to promote and preserve the region’s rich cultural heritage.
