On Thursday, the deputy minister for tourism finance and administrative affairs, Mawalvi Qadrat Ullah Jamal, met with the representative of the international educational organisation PTS, Mr. Bar, to discuss developing the skills and talents of the Ministry workers. The PTS organisation operates in 17 countries, aiming to enhance the skills of both government and corporate workers.

PTS proposed a 3-week English language skills improvement seminar for Ministry of Information and Culture employees, focussing on tourism hotel management and providing excellent service to tourists. The goal is to promote the tourism sector, as Afghanistan has become a popular tourist destination.

The deputy minister appreciated the programs offered by PTS and believes that such educational seminars will have a positive impact on the skills of the employees. He emphasised that Afghanistan is now an ideal destination for tourists and commended the hospitable nature of the Afghan people.
