The First Place Winner of the Cultural Award was announced in Samangan Province 

The book written by Abdul Hai Tashqarghani, a resident of Samangan Province (Khalm Dar Draznai Tarikh), which won the first place in the cultural awards competition of the Ministry of Information and Culture, was honored by the Department of Information and Culture of Samangan in a cultural event. 
The meeting, which was held in Jahan Nama Bagh of Khalm district, was attended by writers, poets and artists along with the officials of the Department of Information and Culture.
Director of Information and Culture Maulvi Ferozuddin Munib congratulated the author of the book for winning the first place and asked the youth to make study their priority. The work (Khalm Dar Daraznai Tarikh) is the result of his efforts, which has won the first place in the ranking of literary awards in the country.
Qazi Abdul Hai Tashqarghani, the author of the book (Khalm Dar Daraznai Tarikh) said about the content of the book; “This research work, which is written about the history of the ancient Khalm, was published in Kabul in 1387 in the number of 1000 copies. With an introduction and five chapters, it has been written about the Islamic era, ancient monuments, geographical location, topography, customs and traditions, mosques and monasteries, ancient fairs and competitions, artists and poets.”
