The Minister of Information and Culture visited the construction site of the Lashkargah-Herat Highway

On Tuesday, 13 Rajab 1446, Alhaj Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah, the Minister of Information and Culture, during his visit to Helmand Province visited the progress of the Lashkargah-Herat highway construction. He was accompanied by Helmand’s Deputy Governor, Mawlawi Muhammad Nabi Hamaas, and the member of the Ulama Council, Sheikh Abdul Wali Agha.
The project involves constructing a 27.5-kilometer road that will connect the center of Lashkargah City to the Lashkargah-Herat highway. Funded by the Islamic Emirate’s budget, this initiative has created daily employment opportunities for dozens of residents.
In his address, Minister Khairkhwah expressed his happiness, stating, “It is heartening to witness reconstruction projects in war-affected Helmand. This region was once a frontline of conflict where few dared to venture. Today, under the Islamic Emirate’s governance, peace has paved the way for development projects that bring hope and happiness to the people.”
He further emphasized the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to implementing similar impactful projects across the country, particularly in areas devastated by war. “Our goal is to enable the nation and its people to become self-reliant and break free from external dependence.”
