Minister of Information and Culture Visited the Reconstruction Work of Ahmad Shah Baba's House

On Monday, the 12th of Rajab 1446, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaj Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah, during his visit to the Kandahar province, inspected the reconstruction of Ahmad Shah Baba’s house. 

 

The minister emphasized the importance of preserving and restoring historical monuments and cultural heritage during his visit. He noted that Ahmad Shah Baba’s house, which is recognized as one of Afghanistan’s historical landmarks, has been undergoing reconstruction with the efforts of the Ministry of Information and Culture. The restoration work is currently 90% complete, with ongoing efforts to finalize the remaining tasks.

 

The minister also highlighted that historical monuments and cultural heritage are vital symbols of a nation's identity, and their preservation is a shared responsibility for all citizens.
