The head of the Tarnah and Taranom Department met with the Laghman Provincial Leadership and the literary community
During his official visit to Laghman province, Mawlawi Amanullah Mustaghfir, Head of the Tarnah and Taranom Department at the Ministry of Information and Culture, held several meetings with key provincial figures. These included discussions with Laghman Governor Sheikh Sher Ahmad Haqqani, officials from the Department of Information and Culture, and various poets, writers, and vocalists.
At the meeting, Governor Haqqani warmly welcomed the group and reiterated the provincial administration's strong dedication to enhancing the literary and cultural sectors. He stated that all local departments are prepared to fully collaborate with writers, poets, and artists to foster cultural enrichment and social harmony.
Mawlawi Abdul Noor Rasooli, head of Laghman’s Department of Information and Culture, spoke about the positive collaborative spirit among the province’s literary figures. He mentioned that the concerns and requests of writers, poets, and vocalists are met promptly and effectively. He further encouraged them to leverage their talents for the benefit of the public by promoting constructive messages through their literature and poetry.
The literary community shared their views, recommendations, and challenges with the visiting delegation. They stressed that poets, writers, and vocalists play a crucial role in conveying societal values and raising public awareness. Many expressed that their creative work is motivated by a spiritual purpose and a dedication to social improvement. They also requested the organization of professional training seminars to enhance their skills and creativity.
