Regular Meeting of the Billboard and Advertising Reform Commission Held

The regular meeting of the Billboard and Advertising Reform Commission, led by Mawlawi Safiullah Raed, Acting Head of the Social Media Monitoring Directorate at the Deputy Ministry of Publications in the Ministry of Information and Culture, was held.

At the start of the session, the commission’s secretary presented a report on the previous meeting and the progress of the provincial committees, which the participants assessed positively.

During the meeting, based on suggestions from several business owners regarding billboard content, 47 foreign terms and phrases were reviewed and discussed. Additionally, alternative words in national languages were identified and approved for 168 billboards and promotional advertisements.

Qari Wali Gul Jawad, Head of Cultural Affairs at Kabul Municipality and leader of the Field Committee, offered practical suggestions to improve provincial outreach and field programs. As a result, District 4 of Taymani in Kabul city was designated as the target area for upcoming practical activities.
