Regular Meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission Held

On Monday, the 19th of Jumada al-Awwal, 1447 AH, the regular meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Muhajir Farahi, Deputy Minister for Publications at the Ministry of Information and Culture, with the participation of the commission members.

At the beginning of the meeting, the commission’s secretary presented the report of the previous session. The achievements and activities of the commission were reviewed and positively evaluated.

During the meeting, several important decisions were made regarding a number of books. The books that were consistent with Islamic and Afghan values were granted permission for publication. In addition, appropriate decisions were made concerning 50 previously approved books with different titles.

It is worth mentioning that at the end of the meeting, 20 books that had been submitted to the commission for evaluation were distributed among the members to prepare their reports for the next session. The participants also discussed and exchanged views on the procedures for preparing reports on pre-publication works and books, as well as other relevant matters.
