A branch of the national gallery has been established in Nuristan
The Ministry of Information and Culture, specifically the Deputy Ministry of Art and Culture, has inaugurated a new branch of the local national gallery for the first time in the Information and Culture Department of Nuristan. This initiative was undertaken by officials of the National Gallery to promote art and culture in the region.
The opening ceremony was attended by Maulvi Muhammad Shafiq, head of the provincial office; Maulvi Samiul Haq Haq Bayan, head of information and culture; and Mufti Rafiullah Naseh, head of the National Gallery, along with officials from various institutions. During the ceremony, Mufti Rafiullah Naseh announced that 20 different works of art, including paintings, calligraphy, and miniature works, have been displayed at the newly opened National Gallery branch.
He emphasized that the National Gallery provides a platform for artists, ensuring that their rights are recognized and respected. He also highlighted the increased attention given by the Islamic Emirate to this aspect of cultural development.
Maulvi Samiul Haq Haq Bayan expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration between the Ministry of Information and Culture in establishing the local branch of the national gallery. He stressed that the construction of the gallery was a necessity for all artists and cultural workers in the province, allowing them to preserve their cultural heritage for future generations. The Department of Information and Culture is committed to providing full support to artists and collaborating with them in every possible way.
