The Deputy Minister of Information and Culture met with the Governor of Maidan Wardak Province

 During his visit, Mavlawi Qudratullah Jamal, the Deputy Minister of Information and Culture for Tourism, Finance, and Administrative Affairs, led a delegation that included Mawlawi Ihsanullah Hassan, Head of the Minister's Office, and Mavlawi Naqeebullah Nauman, Head of Employee Affairs. They met with Qari Bakhtiar Maaz, the provincial governor, and Mavlawi Habibullah Mujahid, the Director of Information and Culture. The purpose of their meeting was to strengthen collaboration and promote the tourism sector in the province.
 
Mavlawi Qudratullah Jamal emphasized the crucial role of the Directorate of Information and Culture in fostering cooperation at the provincial level. He remarked that tourism is one of the most significant industries globally. He noted that Maidan Wardak Province is uniquely positioned to capitalize on its rich historical sites and natural beauty. He urged local authorities to prioritize the development of this sector.
 
Mr. Jamal pointed out that since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, there has been a noticeable increase in foreign tourists visiting various provinces. He called upon the Directorate of Information and Culture to work closely with the provincial government to enhance tourist inflow and create employment opportunities for residents.
 
Qari Bakhtiar Maaz, the provincial governor, warmly welcomed the delegation and affirmed that the Directorate of Information and Culture is fully committed to collaborating with the provincial government. He assured them that efforts are ongoing to preserve ancient sites and promote tourist attractions in Maidan Wardak Province, pledging complete support from the provincial government.
 
Mawlawi Habibullah Mujahid, the Director of Information and Culture, added that over the past two years, 75 ancient sites and tourist attractions, including historical ruins and significant fortresses, have been officially registered in the province. He also mentioned the establishment of the "Mujahid National Museum" in partnership with the provincial government, which showcases numerous ancient artifacts and military relics. This museum has attracted the interest of many visitors, including domestic tourists, foreign dignitaries, and high-ranking officials from the Islamic Emirate.
