A One-day Seminar and Exhibition of Artistic Paintings Was Held in Paktia Province
A one-day seminar and exhibition of artistic panels was held for calligraphers, painters and artists by the Management of Art and Culture of the Department of Information and Culture of Paktia Province.
In the beginning, a professional delegation from the Ministry of Information and Culture gave a theoretical and practical seminar to painters, artists and calligraphers on the relevant topics, followed by the opening of an exhibition of artistic paintings, in which dozens of different artistic paintings were exhibited by painters and artists.
The Director of Information and Culture, Qazi Sawab Jan Islam, said; “The purpose of this exhibition and seminar is to paint,and calligraphize in the light of Islamic Sharia, in order to send a good message to the society. He added; “Paktia has good talents in the fields of painting, art and calligraphy, which have achieved good positions at the country level, but they are requested to carry out their actions within the framework of the Islamic Sharia and system principles. Calligraphers, painters and artists have been supported with the arrival of I.E.A, their problems and demands are heard and solutions are sought for them to continue their activities.”
During this exhibition, Ustad Irfan, the head of the calligraphers and painters' union of Paktia Province, asked the officials of the Islamic Emirate to support and encourage calligraphers, painters, and artists by organizing seminars and exhibitions in addition to providing them with related fields, so that this art remains and continues for future generations.
It is worth noting that at the end of this exhibition and seminar, a number of painters, artists and calligraphers were given awards.
