Regular Meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission Held

On Monday (24 Jumada al-Thani 1447 AH), the regular meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission under the Deputy Ministry for Publications of the Ministry of Information and Culture was held, chaired by the deputy minister for Publications, Mr. Muhajir Farahi, in the presence of other commission members.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Commission Secretary presented the report of the previous session, and the Commission’s achievements and activities were positively evaluated. During this meeting, decisions were made regarding several books, and those works that were written in accordance with Islamic and Afghan values were granted permission for publication.

It is noteworthy that, at the conclusion of the meeting, five books that had been submitted to the commission for evaluation were distributed among the commission members for review, with reports to be presented at the next meeting. Additionally, during the session, the commission discussed the issues and suggestions of publishers and made decisions regarding the monitoring of bookstores and libraries.
