A regular meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission was held.
On Monday (10th of Dhul-Qa‘dah 1447 AH), the Book Evaluation Commission, operating under the Deputy Ministry for Publications Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture, convened its regular session.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Commission’s Secretary presented a report on the previous session. The Commission’s recent activities and achievements were reviewed and regarded positively.
During the session, decisions were taken on a number of books. Those works found to be consistent with Islamic and Afghan values were approved for publication. In addition, necessary decisions were made regarding 207 volumes of imported and exported books encompassing 97 different titles. The publications of Misbah Publishing House were also reviewed and subsequently approved.
It is worth noting that 10 referred volumes were distributed among Commission members for further review, with the expectation that their findings will be presented at the next meeting.
