Regular Meeting of the Media Violations Review Commission was Held

On (20th Jumada al-Thani 1446), the Media Violations Review Commission held its regular meeting, chaired by Mr. Mohajer Farahi, the Deputy Minister for Publications Fair and Vice Chairman of the Commission, at the Ministry of Information and Culture.

The meeting commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from Mr. Farahi. In his remarks, he provided an assessment of the progress made on decisions from the previous meeting.

During the session, a detailed report was presented by the commission’s delegation, which had been assigned to address issues related to Kawan  Ghag and Sola Sahar Radio. Based on their findings, the commission approved granting a license to Sola Sahar Radio.

Additionally, the commission thoroughly reviewed complaints filed by journalists of the Rah-e-Farda and Arzo TV channels. Six other key matters were also discussed, and necessary decisions were made to address these issues.

The meeting concluded with a closing prayer, marking another step toward improving media operations and resolving outstanding matters.
