The officials of the Department of Information and Culture of Logar Province say: “According to the guidance of the Deputy Ministry of Culture and Art, a survey of the martyred mosques and madrassas in Logar province’s Kharwar (Islam Dara) district during the last 20 years of occupation as a result of aerial bombardment by the invaders was conducted.
Director of Information and Culture Manager of Tourism of the Department of Logar province, Mohammad Gul, and Manager of Archeology, Abdul Shakur Mohammadi, under the guidance of the Deputy Ministry of Culture and Art, visited Logar Kharwar (Islam Valley) district to the survey of martyred mosques and destroyed madrassas due to the aerial bombardment of the invaders in the last twenty years, in addition they inspected a number of historical places and ancient areas.
In the course of their visit, the delegation met with the District Governor and Police Commander of Kharwar district and shared their requests and suggestions for the protection of historical places and ancient areas.
