Book Review Commission Holds Regular Meeting

On Monday, 23 Sunbula 1405 (1 Rabi’ al-Thani 1448 AH), the Book Review Commission of the Ministry of Information and Culture held its regular meeting with the participation of its members.
The meeting reviewed several books submitted to the commission and addressed matters related to their publication. Following the review, books found to be consistent with Islamic and Afghan values were approved for publication, while the necessary decisions were taken on the remaining works.
The commission also reviewed the documents and activities of its field committee and provided the necessary guidance to further its work.
Members then discussed ways of engaging with authors and translators to enrich and improve the content of their published works. They exchanged views and reached the necessary decisions on the matter.
At the conclusion of the meeting, 10 books referred to the commission were distributed among its members for review. The members will present their reports at the next meeting.
