Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs Meets with Media Officials and Journalists in Balkh

On 7 Rabi al-Thani 1448 AH Mawlawi Muhajir Farahi, Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture, met with a number of media officials and journalists from Balkh Province.
The meeting was attended by Mawlawi Safiullah Raed, Director of Mass Media Monitoring of the Deputy Ministry for Publications Affairs; Mawlawi Rahmatullah Nariwal, Legal Adviser to the Ministry of Information and Culture; and Mawlawi Mohammadullah Zarar, Director of Information and Culture of Balkh Province.
During the meeting, representatives of private media outlets and journalists shared their views and recommendations on facilitating the deployment of journalists to cover the joint commercial market between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, as well as on access to information.
They stated that no major problems had arisen for media outlets or journalists in Balkh Province over the past five years.
The journalists further stated that media officials and journalists in Balkh Province are committed to upholding the Islamic system and national values. They also expressed their readiness to fully cooperate in shaping and maintaining public opinion.
Mawlawi Muhajir Farahi commended the activities of media outlets and journalists and reaffirmed the Ministry of Information and Culture’s commitment to supporting all media outlets and journalists across the country.
He assured the participants that the ministry would make the necessary efforts to address existing challenges and respond to proposals aimed at resolving these issues and supporting journalists.
