Book Evaluation Commission Holds Regular Session

On Monday, 5 Safar 1448 AH, the regular session of the Book Evaluation Commission, operating under the Deputy Ministry for Publications Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture, was held to review a range of publishing matters and assess books submitted for evaluation.
During the session, the Commission made decisions on several publications. Books determined to be consistent with Islamic principles and Afghan values were granted approval for publication. In addition, 15 book titles and literary works were referred to Commission members for detailed review and evaluation before publication. The members are expected to present their assessment reports at the Commission's next meeting.
The Commission also discussed publications associated with the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) and adopted the necessary decisions concerning those works.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Commission members met with the author of the story, Ruyaha, to discuss the publication of the work and exchange views on its content and publication process. The responsible officials reaffirmed their commitment to providing the necessary support to facilitate the book's publication.
