An exhibition was inaugurated to coincide with Tourism Week in Herat.

A seven-day exhibition of handicrafts and artifacts was organized by the Department of Information and Culture in Herat province in conjunction with Tourism Week. The event was attended by the head of Turkey's Consul General and the Office of Coordination and Cooperation (TIKA), Arafat Deniz, and took place at the Ikhtyar u Din historic fort.
 
Mawlavi Ahmadullah Muttaqi, the Head of Information and Culture, mentioned that the exhibition featured two sections for artworks and handicrafts, one for women and the other for men. Additionally, artworks and handicrafts from artists in Nimroz province were also displayed.
 
Arafat Diniz, the head of the TIKA office and a financial supporter of the exhibition, expressed plans for further development of Afghan artists' artworks and handicrafts.
 
Participants at the exhibition expressed their happiness with the event and expressed a desire to organize more national and international exhibitions.
 
The exhibition showcased 100 stalls of artwork and handicrafts.
