According to Mr. Nisar, this visit helps pave the way for strengthening cultural relations between the Islamic Emirate and the Government of Indonesia, as well as for the protection of shared historical and cultural heritage.
The Indonesian Ambassador and his accompanying delegation also visited the Al-Biruni Public Library and several ancient sites in the province. On this occasion, Mr. Nisar presented Dr. Nanda Avalist with a volume of scholarly research articles on Abu Rayhan al-Biruni that was published in Afghanistan.
