New Directors Appointed to Departments of the Ministry of Information and Culture
Pursuant to a decree issued by the Office of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, three new directors have been appointed to key departments of the Ministry of Information and Culture and have assumed their respective responsibilities.
Mawlawi Abdul Alim Zainawak Mufti Zada, former Director of the Quran Writing and Bayhaqi Book Publishing Directorate, has been appointed Director of the Newspapers Directorate. Engineer Uzair Baryali, former Director of the Newspapers Directorate, has been appointed Director of the Planning and Policy Directorate. Nematullah Saeedi, former Head of the Directorate for the Preservation and Maintenance of State-Owned Companies, has been appointed Director of the Quran Writing and Bayhaqi Book Publishing Directorate.
The appointment ceremony was attended by Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance and Administrative Affairs; Mr. Muhajir Farahi, Deputy Minister for Publications; directors of several central departments of the Ministry; and employees of the concerned directorates.
Addressing the gathering, Ministry officials underscored the importance of sincerity, commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility in the discharge of official duties. They called on the newly appointed directors to focus on improving departmental performance, enhancing service delivery, and supporting the Ministry’s objectives. They also stressed the importance of strengthening coordination among the Ministry’s departments and fostering a conducive working environment.
The newly appointed directors thanked the leadership for its confidence in them and pledged to carry out their responsibilities with dedication, making full use of their capabilities to effectively advance the work of their departments.
