The Minister of Information and Culture Visits the National Archives
On Saturday (24 Jumada al-Awwal 1447), the Minister of Information and Culture, Sheikh Shir Ahmad Haqqani, visited the National Archives.
During the visit, the Director of the National Archives, Qari Ubaidullah Hanif, provided the Minister with detailed information about the archival documents, the restoration and digitization processes, as well as the ongoing activities and recent developments within the institution. He also requested support to strengthen resources and equipment in these areas.
Minister Sheikh Shir Ahmad Haqqani stated that since the National Archives is one of the most important directorates at the national level, all of its challenges will be addressed. He emphasized that necessary measures will be taken to advance the institution and that standard and adequate resources and equipment will be provided to preserve the documents.
