Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs Meets with Media Representatives and Journalists in Faryab
On 2 Rabi al-Thani 1448 AH Mawlawi Muhajir Farahi, Deputy Minister for Publications Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture, met with a number of journalists and representatives of state and private media outlets in Faryab Province.
The meeting was held at the Faryab Directorate of Information and Culture in the presence of Mawlawi Safiullah Raed, Head of the Mass Media Monitoring Directorate of the Deputy Ministry for Publications Affairs, and Mawlawi Rahmatullah nariwal, Legal Adviser to the Ministry.
During the meeting, representatives of private media outlets and journalists raised their concerns and recommendations regarding the issuance of journalists’ identification cards, electricity bills, and access to information. They said that no major challenges had arisen for media outlets or journalists in Faryab Province over the past five years.
The journalists further stated that media officials and journalists across Faryab remain committed to upholding the Islamic system and national values. They also assured the meeting that journalists are fully prepared to cooperate in promoting and maintaining public awareness and opinion.
Deputy Minister Farahi commended the activities and efforts of media outlets and journalists, emphasizing that the Ministry of Information and Culture remains committed to supporting media outlets and journalists across the country.
He also assured the participants that the Ministry would make every necessary effort to address existing challenges and provide appropriate support to journalists.
