Public Awareness Seminar on Decree No. 17 of His Excellency Amir al-Mu'minin (May Allah Protect Him) Held in Zaranj City

The Department of Information and Culture of Nimroz organized a one-day seminar in Zaranj City to promote better implementation of Decree No. 17 issued by His Excellency Amir al-Mu'minin (May Allah Protect Him), which concerns the prevention of harmful social customs.

The seminar was attended by the Director of Information and Culture, Mawlawi Habibullah Elham, officials from local Emirate institutions, religious scholars, tribal elders, cultural figures, and youth representatives.

Speaking at the event, the Director of Information and Culture discussed the importance of obedience to the Muslim ruler in Islam and the significance of the orders and decrees of Amir al-Mu'minin (May Allah Protect Him). He stated that obedience to Allah Almighty, obedience to His Messenger, and obedience to the Muslim ruler are obligatory upon Muslims.

Mr. Elham further emphasized that the decrees and directives of His Excellency Amir al-Mu'minin hold special importance in society, particularly Decree No. 17. He noted that implementing this decree is the responsibility of every Afghan, as its enforcement helps address societal problems and contributes to public welfare and social well-being.

Other speakers also delivered comprehensive remarks regarding the decree, stating that Decree No. 17 was issued to reduce social problems and promote reform. They stressed that its implementation is the responsibility of all Afghans. The decree aims to prevent harmful customs, reform society, strengthen the economy, and reinforce Islamic values.

Participants in the gathering expressed appreciation for the initiative taken by the Nimroz Department of Information and Culture. They added that eliminating harmful customs serves the interests of every member of society and contributes to the happiness and well-being of all. They also pledged to work collectively toward preventing harmful social practices.
