Book Evaluation Commission Holds Regular Meeting

On Monday, 12 Shawwal 1447 AH, the regular meeting of the Book Evaluation Commission, affiliated with the Deputy Ministry for Publications of the Ministry of Information and Culture, was held.

At the start of the meeting, the Commission’s secretary presented a report on the previous session, during which the Commission’s achievements and activities were positively reviewed. During this session, decisions were made regarding several books, and those aligned with Islamic and Afghan values were approved for publication.

Additionally, decisions were taken concerning 129 volumes of imported and exported books covering 47 different titles. A total of 22 books referred by the commission were distributed among members for further review, with reports on these expected to be presented at the next meeting.

It is noteworthy that, at the end of the meeting, the Commission’s report for the solar year 1404 was reviewed and approved. Furthermore, discussions were held on the Commission’s plans and programs for the new solar year, and the necessary decisions were made.
